Nutritional Optimisation
Empowers you to use the foods you have available and enjoy, to obtain the nutrients your body requires in the most precise, efficient, and effective manner.
Symptoms
You may have a few symptoms such as low energy which has led you to consider whether your dietary intake is optimal, or maybe you have no symptoms at all but want to take a proactive approach to your health now and for the future.
How does Surrey Centre for Nutrition work with Nutritional Optimisation?
Whatever your reason for looking to optimise your nutritional status, we will have the tools to help you get the analysis and personalisation that you are looking for and need. Whether you simply want to balance your intake of nutrients through food, ensuring you are getting adequate amounts of protein, fats, carbohydrates, fibre and fluids for example or whether you want to look deeper into your balance of essential vitamins, minerals, essential fatty acids and phytochemicals (antioxidants) for example we can support you.
Through careful analysis of your current dietary intake using a diet diary, alongside analysing your needs by understanding your lifestyle and activity levels we can determine where we need to focus our attention and determine what your nutritional needs are. For more detailed analysis we have a range of functional nutrition tests that we can run to determine if there are any nutritional deficiencies or insufficiencies and from here we can determine our nutritional approach using diet and supplement recommendations.
Equally when you are taking medications we can determine if these may be resulting in nutritional depletions and offer advice as how best to set these straight.
